Biography

At the age of 4, Gabor Talmacsi developed an interest in motorcycles, as he started riding on a bike specifically made by his father. After many hardworking and strenuous years of competing, Talmacsi won the 125cc MotoGP title in 2007. After suffering a severe leg injury in 2013, Talmacsi’s leg continues to rehabilitate. He established his own management, under the name of Talmacsi Group, which he continues to lead on a daily bases.

He was born in 1981 and at the age of 4 he was already racing with his own small motorbike made by his father. He was very young when he gained excellent results in 50 cc and 80 cc Hungarian National Championships and won almost every mini motor racing championship.

In 1995 he reached 2nd place in 125cc Hungarian National Championship and in 1996 he obtained very good positions not only in national but international championships too.
Later he achieved 1st place on the podium in 125cc Hungarian National Championship then in 1997 his life turned a great corner when he was 4th at the European Championship held on Hungaroring.
In 1999 as the winner of both National and Alps Adriatic Championships he could stand on the highest place of the podium.
In 2000 during the European Championship he was sponsored by the German IVETRA team where, besides several podium places, he finished the season on the 5th place in total.
In 2001, owing to his investor and sponsors, he had the opportunity to race as the member of the Italian Racing Service Team in 125cc Motor GP World Championship.
