Talmacsi Racing ricer is the Hungarian Champion!

Talmacsi Racing’s rider, Herman Lakatos won the Hungarian championship. Congratulations!

Herman’s consistent, stable and strong season produced a highly successful end result!

The last race weekend didn’t just provide happiness, but also some tough obstacles. On Saturday, Herman started from 3rd position, which was the 1st position in his category. He was able to win the race. The start on Sunday didn’t go according to plan, as other riders around him had a better start, which meant Herman was 5th in the first corner. Despite the difficult start, Herman worked hard and as able to finish in second place in the first race. Despite the fact that this meant he had already won the championship, Herman was focused on the final race. It started very similar to the previous race, as Herman was in 5th place at the first corner. An accident meant the race had to be stopped, meaning Herman finished in 5th place. Thankfully, nobody sustained any major injuries.

Herman Lakatos: “In the second race, I was in 5th position at the end of the first corner, and as I was gaining positions and fighting for second place with Balint Kovacs, two lapped riders caused Balint to fall, and as a result, I accidentally rode over his leg and then fell too. A few seconds later, Norbert Ernszt collided with Balint’s bike, which hit my leg. Due to the accident, a red flag was waived.
After I came out of the ambulance, other riders greeted me with a champion shirt. It was such a good feeling to put on the shirt. Everybody congratulated me and wanted a photo with me! It was honestly an unbelievable experience! I was really lucky to come away from the accident unhurt, and as the adrenalin was decreasing, I started feeling my joints. Luckily, I had no major injuries.”

Congratulations and best of luck for next year!
